Good Value for the Money

I was looking for a good value in an espresso machine to make a latte about once a week. This machine fits the bill. All the important parts are removable so that you can clean it well. The only complaint is that the clearance for the drip tray is only a few inches. To get my espresso glasses to fit, I remove the silver mesh and drop the glasses into the removable drip pan. Otherwise, no complaints.

This is my first Espresso machine, and it works great. Its very easy to use. I use it everyday for 4 months now with no problems. I recommend it for anyone who loves coffee.

I bought the Delonghi EC155 due to the raves of a few friends and family members. It made great espresso, lots of crema, frothed the milk just fine, froth was thick and firm and lasted hours. Alas after only 2 weeks ,DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Makert he frother stopped working. Amazon makes it easy to return which I did and a replacement arrived immediately. Amazons service is fantastic!!

I am having morning cappuccinno and very happy with it. Hope this machine lasts awhile. The people I know who also got this machine are also happy with the ease of use and coffee

Very high quality machine, especially for the price. Very quick to use, and is able to stand up to daily use. Few machines for this price are able to produce true espresso with a full amount of creama. This one works great.

Wonderful espresso pump!

The EC155 makes great espresso for an entry level pressure pump machine. I’m sure there are better machines out there for more money, but I’m having a lot of fun with this one and making some really good coffee. Do your homework to find what bean and roast you prefer and how much “tamp” you need and you’ll be rewarded with excellent espresso and real crema. The steamer/frother function is easy to use for making other coffee drinks. The owner’s manual is concise and easy to follow.

I always wanted an espresso maker but thought they were took expensive to buy. Found the DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Maker at Amazon for a great price and absolutely love it. My sister even bought one too. Use it every day, makes great espressos/ lattes!

Great starter machine

My brother sent this to me for Christmas, and at first I was a bit wary because the last few home espresso machines I'd bought from local stores (Target) were terrible. Then I looked up the reviews here on Amazon and the majority seemed very good, so I decided to give this one a spin. This is the first pump action machine I'd owned, everything else prior was steam driven and the difference is obvious in the quality in the taste of the brew.

This machine is great. I have not found myself going to $tarbuck$ or any other local coffee place since owning it, which saves me a lot of money. The only advice I can give is to buy good coffee and try to grind it at home yourself using a good burr grinder (I use my grinder on a setting of 3, which seems to work great with the EC155). Also invest in the money and buy yourself a good tamper. The one that comes with the machine is crap, and so far that is the only complaint I have.

Maybe someday I'll upgrade to a fancier machine, but in the meantime I'm going to see how much work I can get out of this one.

Awful Product!

Seeing that it was Italian-made, I bought it with high expectations as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. Once it was out of the box though, it failed to live up to any expectations. It wouldn’t operate at all. I’m glad I returned it back. Look elsewhere for a good-value espresso machine. Naus–gulooh gah!

So far, a great buy!

Having made about 100 cups with this machine, so far, I am very pleased with it. Compared to th eGaggia Carezza and Evolution, it is:

1. About 1/3 the price

2. Much quieter

3. Takes up much less counter space

4. Much easier to clean

5. Much less tempermental about tamp, grind, etc

6. About as good at making cappucinos, perhaps not quite as good with pure espressos

This is an excellent product; exactly as described.

I also use it to make tea (such as green tea for Chinese meals).

Only complaint is spout is too close to unit for expresso and will not accept many generic expresso cups as other units do.
